On behalf of the Trustees of Bournemouth Above And Beyond Trust (BAABT), we extend a warm welcome to all. We were established in 2014, to assist former and serving members of the Armed Forces, and the broader BCP community with guidance, rehabilitation, emotional and educational support.

We are committed to tackling poverty; the advancement of education, working with vulnerable groups and enabling our clients to move forward with their lives.  We work tirelessly to offer practical and emotional support so that we can make a tangible difference to the lives of our clients.

As a charity, we recognise the importance of working in collaboration with other organisations and supportive professionals. This enables us to combine expertise, and allows for the development and delivery of more comprehensive and effective rehabilitative support.

We work alongside a health care professional from the NHS-Op Courage to support the wellbeing of our clients. In addition, we have an Occupational Therapist who works with our clients on an individual basis.

We work collaboratively with the YMCA, BCHA, Bournemouth Memorial Homes, BCP Housing and Dorset and Hampshire Green Spaces. We also work alongside the Probation Service and Guys Marsh prison.

These involvements support us directly to deliver vital services to our clients, enabling them to overcome challenges and build brighter futures.  Ultimately, we aim to equip people to have the resources that they need to become self-fulfilled.

We are also fortunate enough to have the support of some National and local businesses and organisations: AFC Bournemouth, SODEXO, Trident Maritime, Dorset Commercial Cleaning, Poppies Florist and Elkins Boatyard.
